About Chris HeuerA globally recognized Startup Mentor, Serial Entrepreneur, Futurist and Community Builder.
Over the last several years, Chris has invested his efforts into studying and identifying the foundational methods and systems that separate great startups from those that fail to launch. He has learned a lot from all of the leading startup gurus, but just as much from his own failures and from supporting founders through their journeys.
Advisor to Hundreds of Startups
Chris has been mentoring startups for over 20 years, more recently serving as a lead mentor in Google’s global Launchpad Accelerator and an Entrepreneur in Residence for creative industries at QUT in Australia. Through these roles and wisdom shared by other mentors around the globe he has refined his approach to his startup mindset, methods and measures.
From this research, conversations with other leading mentors and his direct experiences, he realized that too many accelerators and mentors were not serving founders as well as they could. This head him to launch Mentor Bureau in early 2019 to improve the quality and consistency of startup mentorship. The insights he found most often missing from these startup programs and mentorship are at the core of Startup Magic .Live.
Co/Founder of Dozens of Companies
Perhaps best known as the founder and CEO of the globally recognized Social Media Club, it was his inspiration, investment and hark work that ultimately grew this movement from a meetup into a global network in 350+ cities which touched millions of people.
Chris founded his first companies, an Interactive Agency and a Local Content Network in 1994. He went on to found one of the first Social Media agencies, The Conversation Group, in 2006. Shortly thereafter he created an early ‘network agency’ called AdHoncium. Working with Deloitte Consulting as a Social Business Leader, he helped launch Deloitte Digital in 2013. His experience at Deloitte lead him to launch Alynd, Will Someone and RelyAble, a suite of SaaS products that enables high performance teams work even better together. More information can be found on Chris Heuer’s Linkedin Profile.
His network agency is soon to be transforming again. AdHocnium LLC is the organization producing this workshop.
